I've got lots of ideas and they won't cost you a penny.
I'll take care of all the decorating.
How will I pay for it? Don't you worry your pretty little head about it. I will figure out something..I hope. I've always heard that if you buy it, the decorating will come. So, what do you say? Pretty please? Love, Sissy
Remember when I was thinking about painting my entrance hall in zebra stripes? Well, it is still in the running and so is this...
I thought this fabulous wallpaper from Aphrochic would be great inspiration. I could make my own stencil (or better yet get the fabulous Danika to make me one!) It would be painted in blue of course.
I already have a similar bowl and lamp. Don't you love the lamp? It's not mine...yet. I have two of these beauties in my hands as we speak (or as I type) and I can't decide if I should return them, sell them or keep them. Thoughts?
Especially one with as much style as FolakeKuyeHuntton from Style Pantry.
I love her look.
Do you feel frumpy yet? And guess what? She has three kids, so we can't use that as an excuse.
My hair is this big when I don't dry it. Not even kidding. Maybe I should just learn to love it and go for a modified afro. Not that my hair would look anywhere near as good as her's....
When you get a chance you should check out Style Pantry. I swear it will motivate you to throw out your straightening iron, pile on the bracelets and put on the wide leg pants.
Was it crazy at your Target? I didn't get there until 9:30 and things were about wiped out. I only got a candle (not the colors I wanted) and some votives. By some horrible mistake (meaning they got there before me), someone got my shoes...
Size 7
My candle in blue...
And my throw. I would be most grateful if these items could be returned to me in a timely manner. What? You think I should check online? I would but the Target website crashed..twice.
I asked the cashier that checked me out if it had been a crazy morning and she said her first three customers spent $2400, $1700 and $800 all on Missoni items. I bet one of them has my stuff!!!
Cricket and Clay went first..weeks ago. I say take them all..don't leave me alone to entertain the little one!! (Cricket refuses to show her teeth when she smiles and it is driving me crazy!!)
Butterball went last last week. He got up an hour early and asked me every five minutes if it was time to go. This his reaction when I finally said yes.And for those of you who asked, he is still wearing his gobbers. Not every day, but several times a week. They now fit more like bike shorts than a bathing suit.
Do you remember the first time you saw this fabulous entryway? Ashley Whitaker - Domino. It was love at first site for me. Blue zebra. It doesn't get any better. Unless you add Mexican food.
And it keeps popping up.
I think it's a sign I need to add a little blue zebra to my walls. Maybe on a little different scale.
Like this bathroom designed by Hooper, painted by Ann.
You know them as Hooper Patterson and Ann Schutte - Birds of a Feather. Picture this in blue in my entrance hall...are you on board?
Saw this dress a while back and loved it!! Saw it again this week on Little Blue Dear and decided I might need it. For fall. I know, you are probably thinking a white dress for fall, really? Well, yes, really. Picture it with layers and the winner of my boot contest...
OK So it wasn't really a contest except in my mind but these guys won. Once they arrived there was really no competition.
Blue Walls?Blue lamp? Over sized photos?I don't know. I'm not usually a reddish, pinkish kind of girl but it's just all working for me. What about you?
