I thought this fabulous wallpaper from Aphrochic would be great inspiration. I could make my own stencil (or better yet get the fabulous Danika to make me one!) It would be painted in blue of course. 
I already have a similar bowl and lamp. Don't you love the lamp? It's not mine...yet. I have two of these beauties in my hands as we speak (or as I type) and I can't decide if I should return them, sell them or keep them. Thoughts?

ReplyDeleteYou know I vote to keep the lamps since they're chinoiserie goodness. Re: your ikat idea. Love it! I thought about doing the same thing on the wall behind my headboard. Have you seen Olive Leaf Stencils? They've got some great ikat patterns. Those are the ones I'm considering. You should check them out!
