What is it?

There is something I am loving about this room.

Blue Walls? Blue lamp? Over sized photos? I don't know. I'm not usually a reddish, pinkish kind of girl but it's just all working for me. What about you?

    I love most everything Hillary Thomas does. I used this picture in a post I did about my design crush on her. I think for me the oversize photos give the room that wow factor. Without them, I'm not sure I'd be as enamored.

    Same here with the red/pink thing, but this works for me due to the softness of the color palette. The fabrics look so cozy and soft, the huge canvas pics are wonderful and the pops of blue are the cherry on top! That couch looks sooo inviting. : )

    I find the room warm and inviting. I would be equally happy hanging with a cup of tea and a book as I would be with friends and a glass of wine. Thanks for reminding me how much I like the space.
    The blue lamps are pretty snazzy.

    I've seen this room before and I fall in love with it every time I see it. I'm not sure what it is about the room that I like...but I like it a lot! Maybe it's the fact that there are so many unexpected things in the room.

    I am crazy for this room! I love it all. The reds and the blues and the over sized photos - ohmygosh! I could more right in. Of course I would have to change the photos to my girls!

    If you just described the elements of this room to me, I would so "not for me." But it is fantastic. The photographs are amazing, so welcoming and cozy in a sophisticated way. LOVE IT! M.

    For me it's the luscious sofa that makes the room. And the touches of turqoise just lift the pink. Lovely!
