Christmas Card Wreath

What do you do with your Christmas cards? Throw them in a bowl like I used to do? A few years ago I came up with an easy DIY to display and enjoy my Christmas cards.

A cork wreath.
So simple and easy. Well, easy for Bill. He cut the shape out of some wood and then I glued down cork and added a bow. Done.

(I still need to take down my artwork and hang it up)

I know it is not all that pretty right now, but slap a few cards up there and it is happy holiday time. Maybe I should paint it green...
And what do I see in that cute little bowl...

They're back!! Hershey Candy Cane Kisses.
That's how I know it is Christmas. A sugar headache is a sure sign of the holidays.

So how do you display your holiday cards?
Should I paint my wreath green?
Wouldn't it look better with blue zebra wallpaper?

  1. Adorable! I wondered if you had picked up your candy cane kisses yet. I wouldn't worry about painting the wreath green. I kind of like the natural cork.

I used to display my cards on my pagoda mirror in my entry, but my sister has that now so I've got to come up with a plan B. The mirror I have now is not really conducive to sticking photos in it/on it. Hmm. Maybe I need a cork wreath!

  2. Well it won't show soon right! Or maybe you won't get any cards this year...in that case you should :) I could not have that chocolate in my bowl...I am like a crack addict and would not rest until it was eaten.

  3. Love this idea!!! I always struggle with a cute way to display our Christmas cards. We have a big bay window in our breakfast room with many panes of glass, so I usually tape cards to the windows to display. I'll have to try the wreath this year!!!

  6. What a cute idea! We tape ours to the back of the front door. But I'm loving the wreath idea for this year!
