Now I need to find a way to turn my blog into a little business...ideas? Thoughts?

(That's me in an outfit from the '60's. I'm the one in the hat & the polka dot pants, my sister Susan looks mad. Maybe she wanted the hat.)
If you were out shopping on Black Friday or sleeping off your Thanksgiving dinner and missed my guest post at Belly Button, be sure to check it out here. Chedva has a great series called "Outfit With a Past" and since my traffic was way down last Friday (due to sleeping, traveling, shopping??) I didn't want all of you to miss out on a great blog!!
Have a great weekend. Let's compare Christmas decorating notes on Monday!!

oh my gosh, blow up that picture and frame it. xo
ReplyDeleteSissy,
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit. Maybe your sister was jealous of the pants, not the hat. I know I would've been. I have a sister named Susan too.
Love Sue's offerings at the Zhush store. Hmm. You could start an Etsy store offering all your fabric remnants, cast-offs, thrift store finds, etc. I know a lot of people are doing that these days. I've toyed with the idea myself as my basement is getting a little too cluttered! Let me know if you come up with something!

And you wonder why Butterball loves his gobbers so much!

That is a totally charming photo, Sissy. Really, get a frame! I have been thinking the same thing about my blog since The Zhush launched. I have always wanted a gift shop; a place where I could be wildly successful indulging my obsession with shopping & all things wonderful. I guess I will just keep it on my "to do" list since I don't have time to get to the supermarket most days.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Colleen
Looks like a great shop - will check it out today.
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of you and your sister! Your hat is seriously fantastic.
have a lovely weekend!
ohmygoodness! you have the BEST childhood photos! ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this amazing shout out! This, along with the over the top adorable photo of you and your sister, completely made my day! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, you're too adorable. I love your '60s outfit! Thanks for linking to my blog:)
ReplyDeleteI think your blog is so refreshing that it is one of only a few I can think of that hasn't turned it into a business. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteOh, your sister does look mad. She's probably jealous of your pants and hat.
ReplyDeleteSissy- What a great shop she has! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDelete(You have a great voice. I think you should go into business as a writer. A gun for hire for other blogs!)
