This Little Piggie...

Keeps turning up everywhere...

On the mantle...

On dining room tables...

And in living rooms across the design world.

The original was made by Harry Allen and was cast from a real pig.

He comes in several colors including gold, silver, white and...

Whoa! Hot pink. I like everything about these little piggies except their price. Over $200. It seems funny to pay over $200 on something you are supposed to be saving money in...

Then last week I saw this little guy over at I Suwannee. Jamie is carrying these happy little porkers in her store Furbish Studio. The best part? She has two sizes: 5" for $20 and 8" for $25. That's more like it!

What do you think? Is there a pig in your future?

  2. Oh, I love a piggy bank! And I am with you; $200 is too much, even if it is too cute. Thanks for the tip about Furbish Studio. Happy Monday!

  14. I like pigs in a kids room and maybe kitchen. No need to let them roam around the rest of the house!

  18. Isn't it funny when you start seeing the same thing all over the place - they just sort of start appearing here and there, and I wonder, who started this?
I have been seeing lots and lots of owls around for a bit while as well. Love the little pigs....now I will be watching for them!
