Whoa! Hot pink. I like everything about these little piggies except their price. Over $200. It seems funny to pay over $200 on something you are supposed to be saving money in...
Then last week I saw this little guy over at I Suwannee. Jamie is carrying these happy little porkers in her store Furbish Studio. The best part? She has two sizes: 5" for $20 and 8" for $25. That's more like it!
What do you think? Is there a pig in your future?

Oh, I love it! We love tucking quirky little animals around the house-- I think I might have to order!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love a piggy bank! And I am with you; $200 is too much, even if it is too cute. Thanks for the tip about Furbish Studio. Happy Monday!

Colleen
Excellent observation about the irony of the price tag given the function. LOL!
ReplyDeleteso not cute! I pass on this trend
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I think I may have to find a cheaper version for my four little piggies!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pigs.... Great conversation pieces!!
ReplyDeleteoh you know Eloise adores pigs. She actually has many pigs, but maybe one of Jamie's is in her future...
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny! I just looked at Design to Inspire and they have piggies on their post too (well, maybe boars) Have a good day! Julie
ReplyDeleteI'm with Maureen. I think I'll have to pass as well!
ReplyDeleteWe have something similar in the showroom our line is in. I was drooling over it too! If only Jamie would start selling online...
ReplyDeleteI feel like I saw a pig and an elephant just like that gold one at Homegoods this weekend, maybe it was just an elephant but its worth a look in you love him :)
ReplyDeleteI do like it but not sure if I see one in my future.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I will just admire from afar though...:)
ReplyDeleteI like pigs in a kids room and maybe kitchen. No need to let them roam around the rest of the house!
ReplyDeleteoink oink. i like him for a little one's room.
ReplyDeleteWow! Great find via Jamie! I don't know if I'd want this in my house, but it's kinda cute for a kid's room.
ReplyDeleteLove the pigs---what fun! I also enjoyed your bedroom post on Gramercy. We seem to like all the same things in a bedroom!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny when you start seeing the same thing all over the place - they just sort of start appearing here and there, and I wonder, who started this?
ReplyDeleteI have been seeing lots and lots of owls around for a bit while as well. Love the little pigs....now I will be watching for them!
Oh my, this is the cutest!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you feel imitation is a sincere form of flattery; I like your piggy post so much it inspired me to do a piggy post too!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Colleen
i have been seeing these pigs from areaware (the design house that makes them) at the market for years. i was thinking they were pushing a trend that wasn't ever going to take- but it looks like people are starting to like them!! :)
