Many thanks to Lisa Barnes, Vice President of Customer Care, for all her help and quick replies to my e-mails. She said they were having trouble with shipping, but hoped to have the mirror back in circulation by November. Then yesterday two of my readers contacted me to say it is already back online with an August 15 ship date. Yeah!! Thank you Ballard Designs! And thank you to of of you who called and e-mailed!!! Ballard's listened to you!
I also want to thank my observant readers Gindy and Margaret. Without them I would have been hanging out waiting for November. Of course, my plan was to have my family buy it for my Christmas present, so now I have to cough up the dough myself. Hey, it's worth it. Don't you think? Are you going to order one?
Oh, that is great news! You are obviously very influential to have brought back the Atoll mirror with your campaign! I know it will bring you great joy (in August sometime)!
ReplyDeleteI feel like you personally brought this beauty back! I would buy one too, in an instant....but I can't think of a place to hang it! I do really love it!
ReplyDeleteWohoo!! Congrats!!!
ReplyDeletequick, let's order it before it gets sold out!! xxoo

ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! And I do the same thing haha! What's my next present??
ReplyDeleteB.
It is so much fun to be able to find something we have our hearts set on! Look forward to seeing the mirror in your space.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome - you go girl! I can't wait to see what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteLove!! Although I do wish it was $199 and not $299. For some reason that seems so much more palatable!
ReplyDeleteWow- I am impressed!!! I tried to order the Ballard Bendetta Dining Table in rubbed black yesterday but sadly it was unavailable in this finish... so I emailed customer service and they said they had no plans of making it available again... What is your secret? I really want this table! I think I'll order an Atoll while I'm waiting...
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed. Save your pennies.
ReplyDeletepretty cool! way to go Ballard. hope you get your hands on one before they disappear again!
ReplyDeleteHats off to you! Yes, definitely order it now.
ReplyDeleteLeave it to the blog world to get things done!
ReplyDeletecongrats well done!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to order now for over my fireplace! I'd been searching Oly's website when I saw your post and knew this was a MUCH more palatable price than an Oly mirror... kudos to you and your persistence so that I can now have my mirror I want!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think my mom might order one... maybe she'll order an extra for me!
ReplyDeleteShut. Up. That is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI so want it. dont need it at all but I cant get it out of my head. thanks sissy:)
ReplyDeleteNo Sissy..THANK YOU!!! The image of the Atoll mirror has been sitting in my style file for-ev-ER. Without your post & follow up with Ballard, I'd be out of luck. I usually wait it out until the price is right but not this time. Thanks for the motivation...:)
ReplyDeleteSo funny! I just blogged about this MIA mirror earlier this week. What a great surprise to find that it is back in circulation. Now I guess I have to bite the bullet and actually buy it....Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteso excited for you! I'll still keep a look out at the outlet for you (that is where I got mine for a steal!) Maybe someone will return one with an itty-bitty scratch. (this is Julie Holloway--I need to learn how to post non-anonymously!)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that mirror thanks for pointing out that it's at Ballard!!!
ReplyDeleteGo Ballard! I love them so much!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! As far as I'm concerned you got this done.
