Good Night Sleep Tight

I am helping a friend spruce up her daughter's room and we are considering a daybed.

I've been collecting inspiration pictures and they are so fun I had to share them.

What I love about most of these rooms is that they don't scream children's rooms.

Just between you and me I am not crazy about the mermaid, but the rest is good.

Love the pillows. Maybe we will make a silhouette pillow for A.C.

Crazy good.

This is just crazy fun.
Do you have a favorite?

  2. Children's rooms are always the most fun...all great images, if I had to choose a fave, I think the second one. Show us the after photos when you are done!

  3. The pink and gray room is my favorite. I can just imagine a little girl spending hours on the daybed reading and playing.

  4. I have ALWAYS loved Palmer Weiss' room. But that first one! Oh! And the next to last one is to die for- I want those lamps for my room. I've also always been crazy for the last one for a boy. Oh my gosh, so much fun. They are all fantastic, but I'm with you on the mermaid. I'm not a mural girl.

  5. They are all beautiful, but I think I like the top one the best (isn't it some fashion designer's daughter's room? Maybe Nanette Lepore or somebody like that?). Even though it's super chic, it still feels like a chic little girl's room where she actually lives and enjoys herself!

  8. i always wanted a day bed! I vote for any of them, as long as there is a trundle below for friends to spend the night of course. Can't wait to see the after shots.

  10. I love the upholstered ones, but drawers are probably a great idea for kids rooms. I had a wicker daybed growing up -- loved it! It had a trundle that was great for sleepovers.
