Children's rooms are always the most fun...all great images, if I had to choose a fave, I think the second one. Show us the after photos when you are done!
I have ALWAYS loved Palmer Weiss' room. But that first one! Oh! And the next to last one is to die for- I want those lamps for my room. I've also always been crazy for the last one for a boy. Oh my gosh, so much fun. They are all fantastic, but I'm with you on the mermaid. I'm not a mural girl.
They are all beautiful, but I think I like the top one the best (isn't it some fashion designer's daughter's room? Maybe Nanette Lepore or somebody like that?). Even though it's super chic, it still feels like a chic little girl's room where she actually lives and enjoys herself!
i always wanted a day bed! I vote for any of them, as long as there is a trundle below for friends to spend the night of course. Can't wait to see the after shots.
I love the upholstered ones, but drawers are probably a great idea for kids rooms. I had a wicker daybed growing up -- loved it! It had a trundle that was great for sleepovers.
those colors in the third image always do it for me.love that room. the best thing for me there is that 'ugly' doll. love those. I have an orange one in my living room...
I'm doing a daybed in my son's room with the textile I just scored at the annual Brunschwig & Fils warehouse sale. I can't wait to have it made! The daybeds you featured are fabulous!
That first orange one is way to good! I will be coveting it for years now.

ReplyDeleteThe pink and gray room is my favorite. I can just imagine a little girl spending hours on the daybed reading and playing.

ReplyDeleteNumbers one and seven are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI love day beds! They are such a good solution for small spaces especially when kids are young and need floor space. I love all of these!
ReplyDeleteThe first one! That is one swanky room for a little girl!
ReplyDeleteThe orange one is pretty perfect and the silhouette cushions are adorable!

So many good options. The Elle Decor pic w/ the rug as a pseudo-headboard is very unique. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the sixth one down....my cousin just used a daybed for her daughter's playroom and it looks fantastic! Have fun sprucing up!
ReplyDeleteI think a day bed is a perfect idea for a kids room, makes it much easier for all those slumber parties they like
ReplyDeleteI love the last two images. day beds (with storage or a pull-out bed underneath) are perfect for children!
