Reunited

Remember this guy? I posted about him here. Well, alert the media. While snooping around the Goodwill online store, I found his wife and kids.

I decided this family needed to be reunited at any cost. By any cost I mean $5. Yep, got all three for $5. They arrived safely at my house yesterday.

I tried to get a family photo, but the wife refused until I cleaned her up. I am off today to buy some Brasso.

Bringing families together, it does a heart good!

  10. I need to go get Brasso today too. Thanks for reminding me.

Now, I keep singing that "Reunited" song in my head. Too funny.

If you'd like to add to the family I actually some lotus hanging pendants on eBay (there were 3 on one fixture): http://cgi.ebay.com/1970s-Hollywood-Regency-TRIPLE-Brass-LOTUS-Chandelier-/380224944901?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item58872c3b05
But that may be overkill. There's such a thing as too much family togetherness!

  18. Okay, so here's the skinny, she left him him for another man. He was abrasive, a really dirty guy. She even went so far as to take out an order of protection, he tarnished their lives with his filthy ways. And what did you do, well meaning lady? You threw them back together, now you're responsible for their well being and safety forever and ever! Even Goodwill was hard pressed to keep them together, your work is cut out for you! (Yes, it's almost 2:00am and I get a little loupy and my imagination runs away with me.) Seriously they are lovely! So I guess I'll go shopping over at Goodwill, nice thing about the online shopping store, always open!

  19. Love these, they are great. I have used Brasso and it etches brass, I know that is weird since it is made for brass. The best one I have found is by Weimans. Good luck!Love that you now have the whole family,Kathysue
