Sarah's House

Have you seen Sarah's House on HGTV? It's good. Sarah Richardson (remember her from from Design Inc.?) buys a house and fixes it up with T.V. cameras rolling. I must say it is very entertaining and she does an excellent job.
Right now they are showing episodes from Season I and Season II. I think these first 5 pictures are from Season II and the last 7 are from Season I.

This is a basement guest suite. I know! It doesn't look like any basement I've ever been in.

Love the pops of green with all the white.

And that light fixture? Yes, please.

This is the entrance hall to the home in season I.

Loving this laundry room. Stainless steel heaven, even the back splash!!

Pretty good, huh? Wonder if Sarah wants to come over to Sissy's House?
You can see more photos at Sarah's site here. I wonder if she and Candice Olsen are friends. You know, they are both from Canada and have shows on HGTV.

So what do you think? Do you like her style? Have you seen the show? If not check out HGTV to see what time it airs in your city.

  12. I LOVE this show. She's fantastic. We watch it every Sunday morning! The recent master bath redo (not sure which season, it's the split level house) inspired us.

  16. her style is pretty. i love when she does more of a relaxed style. i am not so much a fan of the tailored bedding she uses. i wish she'd inject a bit of european flair into her design veins. she is def. talented though.

  19. She's not bad! Her personality seems a bit clipped, in that Martha-ish way, but overall a good egg with a pleasant enough style. She's in Toronto and I have to say that city churns out some AMAZING design talent; who knew?! Methinks being the home of Canadian H&H, Toronto is able to nurture a fairly small design pool and really get them groovin' on a global level.

  21. Too funny, I completely just came across your blog for the first time, and I also just posted about my love of Sarah's House last weekend! Isn't it great? Love her style, I just wish I had her design sense and could replicate it in our place.
