Nate has a sister? Who knew? Did you know? I felt like I knew him. Really knew him. After all our time together on Oprah and reading his book cover to cover and never once did he mention a sister.
I guess I won't hold it against him. There are plenty of things about myself I never told him. (Of course I would have had he taken the time to ask)
And of course looking at his sister's fabulous studio apartment really helps heal the hurts feelings.
I can see touches of Nate, but this apartment definitely has a more feminine look.

ReplyDeleteYou can tell it was once a boring studio- what a glamorous room! Am loving his sister's shoes...
ReplyDeletesometimes I forget you have a brother....
ReplyDeleteI just love girly studio apartments.... and this one is great.
ReplyDeleteLoved that apartment... I'm beginning to love peacock blue! I've incorporated it a bit into Indie's room, so we'll see if it keeps growing on me :)
ReplyDeleteI love it. He squeezes a lot in (it's a studio afterall), but it doesn't look crowded.
ReplyDeleteIf I were single and fabulous I would so live here!
ReplyDeleteI love it! They are some good looking siblings!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a chic space! Lucky sister!
ReplyDeleteIt is a good thing I like you or else I would be really mad at you for talking about my boyfriend! Ha! Is it weird we talk about these people we have never met and probably will never meet? I love Nate. I am with you, until I saw this article I never knew he had a sister. Of course, he probably doesn't know I have brothers since like you said he never has asked me. Okay, enough of me being a Nate stalker for one day!
ReplyDeleteheh, i'll join the Nate Berkus stalking society with you ladies! It's not fair that he's so talented and so good looking :-) I love the job he did on his sister's place! I especially love that chaise lounge...I want, I want!
ReplyDeleteI love this! What an amazing use of space, it doesn't even look like a studio apartment. And I'm not usually a Nate fan. But this is so pretty!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is pretty and yet not overly frilly. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing when I first saw this article - how did I not know that he had a sister? She is definitely lucky to have him at her service - her place looks great!

i love this apartment. its so textured, layered and perfect. love it. i am constantly amazed how designers can stuff a room with furniture and still make it look natural and not too decorate-y. i am NOT good at this. yet.
ReplyDeleteI loved this room. It reminded me of the Domino days.
ReplyDeleteyou're funny. And I love this apt.
ReplyDeleteWow beautiful apartment. I see Nate used alot of items from his HSN line of funiture and accesories.
