Inspiration

My Canadian House & Home, August 2009, came today. It is fabulous. I am happy. I would like to take a moment to thank our friends form the North. After all, they have given us: Michale J. Fox, Pamela Anderson, Neil Young, Jim Carey, and Dean McDermott. All that and a great design magazine too! Can't you see why I am happy?

This inspiration board made me even happier. I could look at it all day. It is hard to see some of the details. You really should rush right out and buy Canadian House & Home. You will be glad you did, lots of good stuff inside. While going through saved images I realized I have saved several inspiration boards and thought I would share some of them.

My Home Ideas

John Derian

House Beautiful

Lindsey Harper (Yes, I just posted it yesterday but it fits in today's post and I love the image so here it is again!)

Urban Grace

Blue Hydrangea

Yep, this is mine. Not exactly an inspiration board, more of a bulletin board, catch all, stick stuff you don't want to lose spot. I have all sorts of things: a favorite necklace, an apron, kid's art work, pictures, fabric samples and a papier mache acorn ( why?).

I think looking at someone's inspiration board is like looking at a scrapbook. It is fun and interesting to see what people choose to save and display. Do you have an inspiration board?

  1. I don't have an inspiration board, but I should make one! It would keep me more organized. And I argee, I think you can learn a lot about a person by sneaking a peak at their inspiration board! Also, I've been on the fence about ordering Canadian House and Home, but I need to get on the ball and subscribe - thanks for the motivation.

  4. What a great blog you have. I love your choice of pictures and yes, I have a bulletin board that looks sort of like yours - notes, photographs, calender, miscellaneous things I don't want to lose, and some wonderful artwork done by my girls.........the list goes on, and it does sort of reflect our lives and who we are, doesn't it? Fun.
