These fabulous goblets from Ebay. My husband said I didn't really win since I had to pay for them. Where does he come up with this stuff? It's just not good shopping logic. And I don't even mind paying for them since I have been trying to add to my collection for about 8 months. No kidding. These little babies have gotten very popular.

Now I would like to get my grubby little hands on this collection. My collection is much smaller. In fact, it consisted of four goblets, so now I have eight. Sounds like it is time for a dinner party.
What do you collect? And if it is these glasses, quiet bidding against me! We can take turns, I'll bid on even days and you bid on odd days...

Sissy, of course you won!! He's crazy! I'm the tiniest bit jealous, you know. I LOVE Jen West's collection {and her funny blog}. Anyway, I got two blue milkglass cabbages this week-end in the mountains. Cabbages, you might be thinking?! Well, let me tell ya, these are the best looking cabbages I've ever seen, and I don't even have to give a dinner party!!
ReplyDeleteI really like those! Tell B to stop being the voice of logic-if it makes YOU happy, you're all happy!! At least in this house...
ReplyDeleteThose are blue milk glass right? I think they are so appropriate for the blue hydrangea girl. I collect ohio potteries such as mccoy, hull, roseville. Love the rosy and teal colors... and of course the botanical elements of roseville. Congratulations... wish we were closer... I'd toast with you!
ReplyDeleteOh I love these! Great, one more thing I am going to be obsessed with!
ReplyDeleteLove those. In fact I want those. I collect pottery. Must be blue and must be less than $15.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh! I am insanely jealous! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun 'win'!
ReplyDeleteI love blue milk glass. And actually, I love that shot from "Elements of Style" too? You totally WON! You might have another competitive bidder next time!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the blue goblets! I have looked for them on ebay from time to time and the price always seems to go thru the roof! Congratulations! They are beautiful and seem to suit your style! I also love the blue milk glass cake stands! My list of collections is a long list...I love old white vases and footed compote bowls, maps and globes, and framed silhouettes-especially the homemade ones!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun thing to start collecting- I think the blue is so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteTake a picture of the table when you use them for a dinner party, I'd love to see them in action :)
they are gorgeous! congratulations.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely won, congratulations! Those are just beautiful, and I would love to see photos of them displayed. Great find!
ReplyDeleteLook, I spotted your cups again!!!
