On the Road Again..with Eddie Ross

I know..I already went on a fabulous day trip to Warsaw, N.C. and you are probably thinking where is she off to now? Well, I do have something fun planned!

A trip to Atlanta with two handsome strangers. Well, they are not that strange. I know them, sort of. You may know them too..Curious? It's Eddie Ross and Jaithan Kochar. Yep! I am driving to Atlanta for a little shopping spree at Scott's. I am "oh, so excited". I am sure you have visited Eddie's fabulous blog many times but if you haven't you are in for a treat. Make sure to check out his "before" and "afters". He will blow you away. The best part? You too can join us. Sure I would love my own private day of shopping but what the heck! The more the merrier. Interested? Click here. Tell them I sent you!

Eddie, Seleta and Jaithan
Yes, that is the same Seleta from Simpy Seleta make sure to check out her blog here.

I will be taking the whole family and while I would love to picture my getaway looking like this...

But I am afraid it will look more like this....

The Griswolds!
Hopefully I will be strapping some fabulous find on top and not granny.

This is from Eddie's last trip to Scott's. Is that some blue and white china I spy....

As much as I would like to, I won't be spending all my time with Eddie and Jaithan so to fill the hours I have planned a few extra stops....

I must pop in Pieces. I haven't been in the store since we moved from Atlanta exactly four years ago. I must say it seems to have gotten very popular in that time. It's one of those stores that just makes you happy to walk in the doors. Of course, then you want to go home and burn down your house, but that's life!

Another must, Anthropologie.
Oh, Anthropologie, how I have missed you. Really missed you. Shopping off the internet is not the same and my few trips to the Charlotte store are really just a tease. I miss all your young, hip sales girls who dressed in the crazy and crazy-cool outfits. I need help. I feel like I am losing all my style...I'm starting to look like a ..a..mother! There I said it! Just because I'm old-ish doesn't mean I have to dress old. Does it?

For some really fun fashion finds I hope to make it to Junkman's Daughter. Vintage clothing at it's best! Love it.

The Clothing Warehouse
A new one for me. Got the scoop on this one from the Weatherfords and can't wait to check it out. More vintage (yes, used) clothing.

I am so excited and it's only five weeks away. E-mail Eddie and Jaithan (jaithan@eddieross.com) about Scott's and anyone who wants to hit the vintage clothing stores give me a shout. I don't think my husband really enjoys that kind of shopping...go figure.

  1. How sad that I'm not going with you!! And you ARE the first person who ever told me about Pieces years and years ago, before it was so hot- clever girl. I want to go to the Atlanta Anthro- don't think the one here is as exciting. And I can't wait to hear all about the big Scott's shopping trip with Eddie and Jaithan! I just wanted to hang with you and them. How exciting for you and your sis. I would be devastated, except that I am going to be in London...and I have to say, you make me laugh out loud first thing in the morning about your roadtrip to Warswaw {about which I was also a little jealous, to tell the truth!}. Have a good one. MRJ

  4. I think the trip would be much more relaxing and less-Griswoldish if Bill would just let Bama take the wheel. I know she used to offer...

  7. I promise to take lots of pictures and notes for all of you!!

Maureen: Sure, make fun of a 94 year-old who thinks she voted for Truman in the last election. Poor Bama, I will tell her you asked about her!
