Time flies....

Back from the beach and back to reality. We had such a great week!!

This is my favorite holiday photo. The only problem is that it is not my holiday pic, oh well, love it!! Wish I had this fab shirt to wear while at the beach....perfect. I have been looking for the perfect peasant blouse for years!!! I know it is out there and one day I will find it!!
And I do have some pictures of all the fun and will share once I download them...

For our beach trip I picked up a couple of books for me and the kids. I got Cricket A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I don't know if she liked it or not because I spent most of the week reading it myself. I forgot how much I loved that book!! Of course, I knew what was going to happen having read it several times before, but I still loved every page of it. Four hydrangeas for this one.

I also read every magazine known to man and Jeanette Walls' new book, The Silver Star. The Glass Castle is one of my all time favorite books, so I had high hopes. Sorry to say it was just good-ish. I didn't think about the characters or worry about them like I do in a really good book. Maybe I just expected too much. 

And on a totally unrelated note, for the reader who asked, my fridge is the Viking Professional Series VCBB536LSS. It brings me lots of joy...
