A Good Read

I love me a good book.
Just finished Tell the Wolves I'm Home and LOVED it!! I highly recommend it.

Also read Mary Coin
Another good one. So sad when it was over. I was reading it on my Nook and it said I had 40 pages left and then it just ended..no warning, no nothing!! The last 40 pages were like a dumb old readers guide. I felt so cheated. When I am reading a good book I need some warning that it is coming to an end. I need to prepare myself.

  1. I've had Tell the Wolves I'm Home on my goodreads list forever and keep skipping over it, I'll definitely read it next! Also heard The Burgess Boys is a good read.

  4. Thanks for these recommendations as I've been looking for a good book to read. I have a problem with books. When I get into one, I tend to let other things lapse - like meals, laundry, hygiene. All excuses, but sometimes I put off starting a new book when I feel "busy." You've inspired me to pick one up. I just looked them all up and they sound phenomenal. I have no great recommendations unfortunately. I need to join a book club!

  6. What a coincidence! I just finished "Tell the Wolves I'm Home" which I really enjoyed. And I am about to start "Mary Coin." Both of these books are for my book club. I also recently read and loved "The Innocents" by Francesca Segal, a modern re-imagining of "The Age of Innocence" by Edith Wharton.
