Letter People

Every week at preschool Locke's class makes a new letter person.
Not only is he learning his letters, he is also making really cute art.
I've been stacking the letter people in his closet until I could decide what to do with them.

Ten Creative Ways to Display Children’s Art « Spearmint Baby. Look at that awesome little art table with a spot for hanging a roll of paper! And the chairs!! I want!

Then I found some inspiration...

I decided to cover a wall with letter people

I removed a few pieces of art that were hanging on the wall and got to work.
Some letters, just like us, are more wrinkled than others.

Sadly, as you can see here, we are missing Mr F. Maybe he flew away with five of his funny friends. I am going to try to recreate the missing letter.
(Anyone in Locke's class want to send me a picture of Mr. F?)

We left space for the remaining letters on the bottom row, but so far I am very happy with the way it is turning out and Locke loves it!!
(I hope and pray I didn't leave too much room at the bottom, if Bill has to redo the whole wall he is going to be a little grumpy. Sure I help, I am in charge of putting the tape on, but he has the ruler and the level and all that stuff)

Free art, what could be better?
