You know how a lot of bloggers post their outfits? Usually because they look so stylish and I love seeing what their wear. Louise from Table Tonic always has on something really cool I would love to have.
Well, this morning when I got dressed Bill said "New outfit?" Nothing like a little sarcasm before 8 a.am.

O.K. I admit is looks a lot like this outfit... maybe this has become my spring version.
J Crew checked shirt & sweatshirt, bag from Homegoods, Target white jeans from 8 years ago. Yes, I said 8 years ago, and Minnetonka moccassins from 7 years ago. Just proving my theory that if you buy what you love it will be a thing of joy forever. Or until it goes out of style. Plus let me point out that I don't wear this outfit all the time, sometimes I wear the tops with a white skirt and flip flops. Totally different.
So you have a favorite spring outfit/uniform?

I think you look cute. But where is your head?! I adore wearing the same things over and over. It makes life simple and then when you do put them out to rest, there is no guilt.
ReplyDeleteadorable. I had to super-size the photo to see what you were wearing on your wrists. my thing is cuffs and bangles. The smaller version of the photo was decieving because it looked like you were wearing the DOOR KNOB on your wrist. yeah, go back and look...But it worked for me 'cause I like big stuff on the wrists!
ReplyDeleteI wear the same stuff ALL the time. I'm afraid people actually talk about it...and not in a good way. kinda like, dude, give that a rest.
happy easter. donna
Ha, Donna's right. At first glance, it looks like the doorknob is a big bracelet (which I know you love). Love your outfit! I actually bought a very similar blouse at Forever 21 (I know, I almost set off the old lady alarm when I walked in). And if white jeans fit, why buy new ones? They're always a spring staple in my wardrobe. I need to go unearth mine!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I love your bracelet. So it's really been a bit embarrassing but you can't get me out of my brown cords lately. Or since my jeans no longer fit. I need to get more inventive again but they are just so comfy.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Moccasins will always be chic in my opinion and the Tarjay jeans are perfect. I also have a uniform that I call my "momiform." You are not alone!
ReplyDeleteGreat find at Homegoods! Fabulous colors in that bag. White jeans and moccasins will always be classics. Have a beautiful weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove that outfit-- perfect mix of comfy and cute! Also, the bag is so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit- and love that you bought clothes 19 years ago that are still in style!
ReplyDeleteUniforms are great- it's good to have go-to outfits that you don't even have to think about in the morning!!!
Whoops- meant 10 years ago. Not 19 (unless you're wearing a onesie)
ReplyDeleteI love it...and your point about buying what you love! Happy Saturday! Caroline
ReplyDeleteStill wearing jeans, comfy pants, large men's Brooks Brothers shirts, Minnatonka moccasins in various colors. Worked at Girls Friendly Camp in the 50's still rolling with it now. Of course, my style mentor is Fran Leibowitz so what do you expect?
ReplyDeletemore info on the fun bag please!!!
