Knock, Knock, It's STILL Not Nate

Are you still watching The Nate Berkus Show? Do you love it? Well good for you! I STILL can't get it here!! Even after numerous calls to the local T.V. stations and e-mails to the show, nothing. Sometimes, just to torture myself I check out his website to see all the fun I am missing. For example, this great home tour...

Love it!! Such style!!

Before

After
Can you stand it? The best part? Most of it was done on a budget.

Desk and chair were salvaged and given new life.
You've probably already seen this since everyone BUT me seems to watch the show, but if you want to see more go
here.
Fess up, have you been watching?

  3. Unfortunately, I don't watch it - never have time, but if I did, I'd love to!!! You might want to see if Hulu carries his shows!

  4. No, but wasn't that one of those sister's apartments from Lonny?! or am I just crazy? Didn't their mama paint those paintings of swimmers?!! I'm too lazy to go check.

  5. I only saw one episode, with Elizabeth Edwards. It was touching. She was amazing. She died like the next day. I considered it a sign and haven't tuned in since.

  7. We actually have the Nate show (I think) but I'm not home much during the day and forget to DVR it. Maybe I'll watch today as we have ANOTHER snow day in the Nashville area. Boo.

  8. I try to watch everyday too and agree with Mary...it's gotten much better since those first few episodes. There still seems to be a disconnect some days between what the Nate Berkus brand really is and the stories they do but overall I'm enjoying it. I've got like 3 DIY projects they showed bookmarked, especially this cool rope mirror they made. So annoying that you don't get it!

  9. I record it so I usually watch it while my daughter is napping, I agree with someone above, it does get a little boring sometimes but I get so many good ideas overall that I still watch it faithfully. If its a boring segment I"ll do some cleaning while listening till something of interest comes up. Aren't there some episodes on his website? Or at least a few segments? I thought I remembered seeing that on the site but I could be wrong.

  16. I have seen an episode or two. Not much more than that. But this is an amazing room. Its very eclectic. That seems to be the vibe everyone is going for.

  17. I haven't been watching it very much but if I didn't have the option I'd be mad too. :) If you haven't seen it already, this apartment was in Lonny a couple of issues ago.

  22. I have his shows all DVRd but haven't had a chance to watch. I just found your blog... love it! I am your new follower - but am just the shadow of the person I am (what is wrong with GFC right now?). Sherri

  23. Count yourself as lucky. I've watched a couple of episodes, but it's not great. I'd watch re-runs of most other things. He's a great designer. He's not a great TV host. Poor Nate would have done so much better with a show like Candice Olson or Sarah Richardson. A true design show not a talk show.
