Last week when I was looking through some older posts at My Interior Life, I came across this table Kathy had spotted at her Habitat store.

Surround it with happy, yellow friends and use it as a craft table. Or, if I had a beach house, it could be my dining room table or...oh I don't know, there are lots of things you could do with it. So what do you think? Is it growing on you or are you scared of it?
And a big thank you to Ally, From The Right Bank , for nominating me for a Homie Award!!! You can read more about The Homies here.

Congrats on the award! and the table would look amazing with those chairs!
ReplyDeleteYou know I love it! It seeps into your subconscious, doesn't it? I think it's really fun and yellow chairs would be perfect. Too funny that you found the table's twin or should I say sibling (since they're different colors).
ReplyDeletehmmm... basement yes. breakfast room- I think it's just too much of a good thing for me! Though those chairs would look great with it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday! -Ann
fun basement craft table with those yellow chairs!! but you don't have a basement...
ReplyDeleteCraft table...excellent idea! Yellow chairs around it...just seems so inviting.
ReplyDeletewhoot on the homie love!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, if the white one were near me for $50, it would already be in my home! Where in my home? I don't know. But somewhere. Maybe the kitchen. Someday I will send a picture. And congrats on the nomination!
ReplyDeleteI am not so crazy about the blue one but could totally see the white one surrounded by broth happy chairs somewhere:) Wonder if we have a Habitat store here????
ReplyDeleteYet another sign from the universe that I need to get to my local Habitat store!
ReplyDeletelove the white one! for $50, I could definitely find an awesome use for it - dining table, craft table, sewing table.... the possibilities are endless! My Habitat store has become my favourite place to hang out :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a deal!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Colleen
I adore it but I think the husband would blow a gasket - traditional guy that he is! I saw a very cool ivory color laminate table with brass accents at a local thrift store here a few weeks ago - so KWID - nowhere to put it and I can't get it off my mind!
ReplyDeleteWith the proper preparation and finish, plastic laminate makes a perfect foundation for a decorative painting. Take a look at a good book, such as the one by the great Isabel O'Neil, for inspiration. For example this table would be fantastic with a bronzed base and a faux tortoiseshell top!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a table like that. So ugly it's pretty.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Don't know what a Homie is but I know you should win. I'll go check it out.
