All the Pretty Birds

Do you ever stumble across a blog and just get sucked in?

You scroll through post after post with the hours just ticking away.

That's what happened to me when I found All the Pretty Birds.

I couldn't stop gawking.
My style has been slipping lately.

I spent 2 hours at Anthropologie over Thanksgiving and couldn't find one thing to buy.

Even scarier? I did find something at Ann Taylor Loft yesterday. Either Ann Taylor Loft has gotten a lot hipper or I need an intervention.

soooo funny! I find myself at the Loft too- I'm gonna go with they are getting hipper. Maybe a small intervention for not finding anything at Anthropologie! -We'll just say they were picked over from the big holiday weekend! Happy shopping! -Ann

  3. Not that I ever had a lot of style to begin with, but I feel like mine has been slipping too - so thanks so much for the link!

And I do think that the Loft is getting hipper. Do you read Elements of Style blog? She's mentioned a few times in the last few months how much better the pieces are at the Loft. And I trust her judgment better than mine!

  8. I'm going to have to check out that blog. What's funny is my sister and I went shopping on Saturday and we too spent a LOT of time in Loft trying stuff on (it could have been there 40% off sale that helped too). Nothing I couldn't live without so we headed to Anthropologie. I didn't find anything I needed either. Maybe I'm just getting thrifty, but I happened to agree with my more frugal sister when she said of Anthro, "I just can't see spending $80 on a tank top."

  12. The Loft is definitely cooler, but I'm older, therefore, stepped INSIDE Loft to begin with. I think my first visit was a year or so ago, and I was so traumatized that I was texting my friend from the dressing room.

Those stylish girls are slaying me!

  13. I am right there with ya! I think I spend more time styling my 4 year old and have let me own sense of fashion slip a tad too. She wears a uniform to school next year and I swear I am going to get my style groove back:)

  14. Sissy- My style is slipping too. Although I am having a "good" fashion day today because I had to help out at my son's preschool and made a bit of effort pawing through my closet this morning. I need to get out of the studio more...

Nothing at Antropologie? I should have been there with you!
