Maybe it is the collection of items in all the rooms. I like enough stuff to tell you a little bit about the person living in the home, but not enough to win you a spot on Hoarders.
What about you? Stuff or no stuff?

I'm definitely a "stuff" gal, but am continuously attempting to keep my "stuff" from becoming clutter. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of zen but by love of stuff always wins.
ReplyDeleteWell-edited, but still interesting is what I go for.
ReplyDeleteStuff.. just the right amount!
ReplyDeleteI like collections of things that have special meanings and a history rather than things you just pick up to fill space in your house. Being a sentimental type, everything seems to have meaning to me and it's a continual struggle to keep myself to a reasonable level of "stuff"!
ReplyDeleteI guess I am a stuff person. but would rather not be. Its hard when you have kids.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, stuff that is personal and gives a home soul. Not random hoarding, for sure, and not designer chosen items that have no meaning. LOVE your photo choices. The first photo is a great example of a lot of stuff, elegantly displayed.
ReplyDeleteI love Hoarders. Chris said last night that they need a show about people who love Hoarders. It scares him that I love it, I think. I am definitely more on the hoarder side than the OCD side. I'm a borderline hoarder. Are you?
ReplyDeletelordy, why do I love that show? I am a little frightened. Not by the show but by the fact I like to watch that darn thing.
ReplyDeleteThe older I get - the less 'stuff' I want...
GREAT pics - i am def. a stuff girl.......KG
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how much I love that first one-- I want to copy it in our living room...
ReplyDeleteI like stuff but only a little bit. It's nice to have some open spaces in a room!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that blue wall in the first photo. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI watch hoarders even though it makes me extremely anxious. I'm somewhere in the middle. I don't like clutter mainly. I love things.
ReplyDeleteI love Hoarders... it's horrifying enough to get my hoarding-tendencies husband to go and work on cleaning out his office. I now DVR it for that specific purpose!
ReplyDeleteI like a little stuff, but too much gets in the way. It bothers me if there's too much stuff all around. Unfortunately, as I mentioned above, I married a man who has looooooots and loooooots of stuff. Go figure.
Oh, and P.S. - I see a theme in the above pictures, a little bit anyways - they all have some high contrast elements going on. The zebra, the yellow/white/black, the white stool against the black floor and console... None of the rooms are "neutral".
I must have me MY STUFF! It's all about soul, wooing someone to look further, settle in.
