Inner-tubes

I recently came across this picture on Full House. I remember when this home was first published, I loved this shower curtain from Anthropologie. I wish they still carried it. I would love to use something similar for curtains in my living room.

Doesn't the pattern remind you of inner-tubes? I went tubing with my kids and nieces and nephew on Saturday. Have you ever been tubing? Wonder why you rarely see adults tubing? Older bodies are not meant to be dragged behind a boat at full speed. Our muscles can't handle it. Don't feel bad if I pass you in my car and don't wave. It's nothing personal; I just I can't raise my left arm. Or move the left side of my body. The only tubes I want to see for a while are the kinds on fabric.

P.S. I am not the only one who liked this shower curtain, Kelly Green also posted this same picture today...check it out.

  2. I just found some fabric that is very similar to this pattern at Decorator's Best the other day. Here is the link if you are interested: http://www.decoratorsbest.com/detail.aspx?ID=83206

Also, I went tubing with friends once and I was so sore the next day that someone else had to drive us home because the car was stick shift and I couldn't use my arms!

  12. Do you know anything about that tub? It looks smaller than full-size, a boon for my apartment's tiny bath!
