Reader's Room Part 4

I am so excited to share this bathroom with you.

Can you stand it? Hooper Patterson, a decorator here in Wilmington, sent me these photos of a bathroom she designed.

I was blown away. The walls are hand painted by Ann Schutte.

Yes, I said hand painted. Don't you wish you were that talented?

Need decorating help or a one of a kind paint job? E-mail me and I'll hook you up with Hopper and Ann.

Have a great weekend!!

  3. The toilet doesn't match the sink. One is straight/square, the other rounded/curvy/scalloped. Anyone else see this as a problem?

  5. Beautiful job! What makes it work though, is the wood floor. Had the floor been tile or a hard surface, it might have been too over the top. The dark wood floor softens and grounds the whole design.

  12. Beautifully done! ... Anonymous, I think the curvy sink and the curvy framed mirror are a focal point, taking the eye away from the toilet which isn't something we want to look at. :-) I think it's perfect. :-)
