ReplyDeleteI loooove velvet couches. My parents have one in their sunroom that they've had forever, so the velvet is super soft. It's my favorite spot in their house to read a book. Blue's my favorite color, so you really can't go wrong with a blue velvet couch in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a blue sofa! I will tell you I have two chocolate velvet slipper chairs that I love, but during the summer/warm months I always have the urge to slipcover them in a linen or cotton. But blue velvet probably wouldn't feel as winter-y (if that makes sense). I love the blue chesterfield. I say go with what makes you happy. Velvet is definitely a classic choice!

ReplyDeleteWe have a very large blue velvet couch in the family room, very similar to the last image, but more of a dark, denim blue...so I am very partial to it! LOVE it!

ReplyDeleteThink I am loving that last one. They are all beautiful, but something about that sheepskin throw and the mustard stool is a perfect blend. I think velvet may be easier to clean than linen...but not sure. So bold--love it.
