Winner! Winner! Chicken dinner. Not sure what that means, but that's what Bill says whenever someone wins something. And I won!!

I know it is a salt cellar, but I popped in a tea light and it works beautifully as a votive....loving my little sea urchin. Thank you Maureen!!!
In other mail news...I got another surprise last week.

This lovely vintage Vallerysthal cabbage. I have been wanting one for ages, but kept getting outbid. My friend Michele has two and they look amazing on her bookshelves. I bid on this one ages ago and totally forgot about it until it showed up last week. I got it for almost nothing since it has a crack. Look closely; you can see the flaw. It's O.K. You don't have to be perfect to be my friend, especially when you're cheap! It came all the way from England and the Ebay seller must have swam it over because it took over a month. Not complaining...exactly. Just explaining why I had forgotten about it.
They are very pretty glasses! My vote is to group them together...go for impact!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that sea urchin! It looks like a tiny sunburst "mirror". And congrats with the cabbage!!
ReplyDeletecompletely excited for you, but I have had my eye on that little urchin for sometime now.
ReplyDeletewe say that around here when someone wins something! Go figure. Yea! You got a cabbage. Very pleased with that AND the salt cellar as a votive. xo
ReplyDeleteKeep together! I love blue too, and those glasses look fab. Congrats on the cabbage!
ReplyDeleteAwww, cabbage! It's adorable. I like the idea of splashes of color all around the house, I would probably be more likely to spread the glasses out. I'm sure it will be beautiful no matter what!
ReplyDeleteFirst off: congrats! I love your new sea urchin! And, secondly...my husband says that too! I think its a poker thing? My parents have those blue goblets in white...I always want to steal them, and lastly...I like them spread out, just like you have them. Oh, and one more thing...cb2 has these great lotus candle holders that look like your awesome brass one, only not as fab...
ReplyDeleteLove your new additions! I'm like you - I like pops of color through the house, so keep doing what your doing, it looks great! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLucky you! I'm happy that you finally got your cabbage! Don't you hate being outbid? Grrr.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

I am a group together-er. So that's my opinion. I am totally in love the sea urchin cellar you won. Awesome! I have been doing some spring cleaning and added you to my bloglist. Happy Easter for you, if you celebrate it.
