My living room to look like ....
This. I love every cotton-picking thing about it. The yellows, the blues, the grass cloth, the fish pitcher. Curtains like these would bring me hours of joy. Did I mention I would need about 60 - 75 yards of fabric? Yes, giant windows across two sides of the room that let in fabulous, enormous amounts of light are great. Until you need curtains made. Small problem..I'll shall overcome...
Another inspiration room with blues and yellows and little Palm Beach thrown in for glamour.
Do you have a favorite of the three? Know where I can get the blue zebra fabric for a steal?

Number 1 has been in my images files for a long time. love the colors and the mix - looks casually put together yet terrific...!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the first picture!!{and the third}. I have been daydreaming about that fabric in that color blue or blue-gray, pretending that curtain panels are going to show up in some already made, cheaper form! I know it won't happen. Even pretended that I might find pillows made from it at a great price somewhere. I didn't know we both wanted it!! Of course we would- it is absolutely perfect.
ReplyDeleteThe first is perfection. Can't help you on the fabric, but just recently tracked down two of the same fish vases for a great price at that csn online site. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI love first photo bunches and the rug in the second photo is great!
ReplyDeleteI love the first image too. I love the blue and yellow combo. You can't go wrong with it.
ReplyDeleteThere was a bolt of strikingly similar blue zebra fabric at Hancock Fabrics in Columbia, SC, when I was running errands this weekend. All of their decorator weight fabric was on sale for 50% off too. I'd guess that you could track some down through their stores. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGreat images!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Palm Beach room! Not sure if I would do the sheep or not, though... LOL!
ReplyDeleteI too love the first photo. Those ginkgo leaves on the grass cloth - perfection!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your fabric quest. I know it can be daunting to find the perfect fabric at the perfect price!
The first one, hands down. I love the mix of texture and color. Like the previous comment it till manages to look casual too. I'm sure our good friend google can help you find that zebra fabric. I feel your pain with all the windows right now I have five large floor to ceiling ones I'm trying to find fabric for.
ReplyDeletelove...
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo, although I find the painting above the nightstand a little creepy! The lamp is such a pretty shade of blue.
ReplyDeleteI feel your massive window dilemma. Not easy to get around.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a good lead on the fabric from Anon.
I was going to suggest that you stencil blue zebra stripes on white cotton fabric. Make a large template and spray sections at a time.
A lot of work though...

I love the blue zebra fabric, too--a lot!! I'm guessing you've searched for it, but if you haven't, I will. Who is it made by?
ReplyDeleteWow, I love your choices. They're bright, cheerful and sophisticated, such a great combination!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you've already seen, but just in case, Little Green Notebook has some of the blue zebra for sale. Maybe she could order more for you?
