6th Pic

Beatriz from That Girl In Pearls tagged me in the 6th Pic game. A fun little game where, if you are tagged, you have to show the 6th picture you ever posted.

Mine was from my first post on February 28, 2009. And it was of the Louis Ghost Chair.

I don't know about you, but I never tire of the old Louis Ghost Chair.
Even Butterball has one. I posted about it here.

In truth, I love Lucite in all its forms.

Here are a few pictures from my favorites file.

This is all kind of good.

And what is Lucite really, but a clear little piece of joy.
Why not bring some joy into your home?

  4. I love it. My Louis Ghost chairs make me happy each and every day. I think Hamptontoes is right, though, that it has more impact if used sparingly.

  8. I too am a fan. I have a Louis Ghost Chair as my desk chair in my bedroom. Since most people don't make their way into my bedroom, I feel like it's just for me. I know too much lucite can be a bad thing, but would it be overkill to have lucite chairs around my kitchen dining table (since the only other I have is hidden in the bedroom)? Hmm. I'll have to think about it.

  10. I love the look of Lucite... I would ruin it quickly. Right? Doesn't it scratch easily?

The beautiful coffee table in the 5th photo is now being knocked off by Wisteria. I was going to go over to the outlet today and have a closer look.

    thanks for the great photos.

  11. It's really starting to grow on me. I didn't like it as much at first (too space age or something), but now I realize how open it keeps the room and adds just a bit of something extra.

  15. i have a ton of pictures of these on my blog that i took inside and out. these chairs are a great way to open up a room. they look totally cool when they are outside also, they don't take away from the landscape.

  16. Sadly, I don't have one but would really love one! Lucite is pretty fabulous. Love how it just disappears, and in a small place that's just perfect ;)
