Go to AE first thing in the morning before the teenie boppers are up, and snag the look-alike. Guilt-free pleasure!

Ae jacket for sure - a fraction of the price and looks so similar.

Oh yes - go for it! I bought a similar one at Gap last fall and have worn it to death. I have not had the nerve to wear it with a dressy outfit with tons of jewels, like the J. Crew cuties, but I still feel pretty young and hip.....as opposed to, you ARE young and hip! Thanks for your visit to hill country house.
ReplyDeleteDefinitley the AE jacket! It's cute, but will you love it as much in a year or two? If you don't, you won't feel guilty about spending $60. Go during the day before school gets out to avoid the teeny-boppers. :)

i just don't think the crew version is as cute as the AE version. plus it's SOOOO not worth the 150 you'll spend. jcrew's shit falls apart after a year. it's no more better made than AE and it's twice the money. trust.

ReplyDeleteTotally agree with the ladies who are voting for the AE version! It's a trendy item, which means you love it now, but will most likely not love it as much 2 years from now. Def. not worth spending 150, when the cheaper version looks just as good!
