Do you have a home office?
Sidney asked me to send in a picture of my work area which I was glad to do. And I learned something in the process. I need to work on my work area. And my photography skills. I can't decide if these pictures inspire me or depress me because my work area is so not exciting!! You can check it out here.
Do you have a home office? Desk in the kitchen? Work from bed? I may have to add new desk to my "to do" list.

We have a home office, but I wouldn't dare to post any pictures of it - it's filled to the brim with paper and books, my husband's guitar equipment and our treadmill. It's like the poor room has some kind of split personality disorder!
ReplyDeleteSissy, your space looks so good. I love your painting over your desk- have I seen that? Everything looks very pretty and orderly, and I know that was not just for the picture.
ReplyDeleteI am working on my home office right now. Well, I am actually procrastinating right now, reading design blogs, which is much more fun.I am trying to get organized in there, though - quite the challenge. Love these photos - I agree, do they inspire me or depress me? I am going to go for inspiration! thanks!
ReplyDeleteIn our last home, when we had an extra bedroom, before we had Lauren and needed a bigger house, we had an awesome office, 2 desks, space for all our stuff..loved it. Now our rooms are taken over by our lovely children.. and my "office" is my laptop on the kitchen table! We are in the process of developing our basement, which will include an office space for me!! xo
ReplyDeleteWell, if you call a room with piles of our books stacked around the perimeter, a large desk, and a basket of toys an office - then, I guess we have one. It's certainly nothing I'd ever want seen by the general public, though!
ReplyDeletewe have a home office, but we still end up on the sofa with our laptops ...
ReplyDeleteI love your desk area Sissy! Thanks for again for participating! These images make me want to work on mine a little more....
ReplyDeleteLady, I love how you juxtapose the photos and your funny text. Love!
ReplyDeleteIt seems we are on the same page today.
ReplyDeleteVERY beautiful. I'm not that neat. I have to have everything right around me, so I have notes and samples in neatly unorganized piles or pinned to the wall within easy reach. It just works for me.
ReplyDeleteI wished my office looked like that.
ReplyDeleteI WISH I had an home office, but we haven't gotten that far yet. Next up is the kitchen and laundrey room.. Planning is such a fun part!! I think your work space was super cute! Loved the yellow tray and zigzag pillow :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the comment on my bathroom!!!
I'm sitting in my home office at the moment. It's got such potential, but it's currently an utter mess. Yours looks sweet. Oh God, I just took another look around mine....I've got to go and do something about it!
ReplyDeleteI have a whole room. The third bedroom is my home office. And it's a cluster of a mess. I've been workign on it for months. I just can't get a handle on it and I don't know.
ReplyDeleteCreative spaces/offices are some of my favorite images to look at (and save)!
Off to check out that blog post now....
I dont have a home office but I'm thinking I should kick out my boyfriend of his office and take it as my own :)
ReplyDeleteNo home office here either. My blogging space is called my laptop in my lap :)
ReplyDeleteFor the record, yours was my favorite! Hands down.
ReplyDeleteWe actually have a "home office"... One of the perks of not having any kids yet, I guess.
ReplyDeleteBut, it unfortunately doens't look anywhere as nice or organized as these!! But it's on our (my) to-do list, so hopefully it'll get there sometime in 2010!
people would never read my blog again if they saw my office..it currently stores everything for my garage sale im never having
