Sometimes I like light and bright. Sometimes I like dark and cozy.
O.K. This last room isn't that dark but it sure is cozy...I would love to curl up in one of those chairs and read a book, sip my Diet Coke and eat popcorn. Could someone watch Butterball for about an hour? What about you? Want to come over to the dark side?

Sissy, I love how you write. Did you notice that all these {very good looking!} dark rooms have lots of bright features- fabrics, books, art?! That just makes the rooms!
ReplyDeleteI go between light and dark too. I think I lighten up in the summer, and go to the dark side in the winter.
ReplyDeleteI like to switch things out in the winter to make it cozy. I have deep red pillows on my sofa right now, but in the summer months I'll switch them out with lighter colors.

ReplyDeleteI am definently all over the map with bright or dark - I even like all white. The common thread is that the rooms all have personality and pull you in! Love navy blue walls right now!

ReplyDeleteI love dark walls. I've seen so many gorgeous black and navy blue walls lately that I am tempted to try it... but then I fear one day I'd come home and be bummed out by the dark colors...
