Right now I am here. Frantically looking for an outfit for my date tomorrow with Eddie and Jaithan. What? No one is going to be looking at me? You sound just like my husband.
Hopefully, I have already popped in here for a few pictures and design inspiration.
Can't wait to check out this place. I have heard they have fabulous vintage clothing and accessories. 
I am dying to stop here for lunch. I ate their chicken salad everyday for two years. I am not kidding, two years straight. Oh, I didn't have regular old chicken salad everyday. No, some days I would have their curry chicken salad. I love it so much, sometimes my sister packs it in a cooler and brings me some when she comes for a visit. I begged the owner to tell (sell) me the recipe when I moved. He thought I was crazy. He said "It is just chicken, mayo and celery." But there must be more to it than that as I have never found any chicken salad as good as Cafe at Pharr. And I have been looking for four years!!

ReplyDeleteSecret ingredient to great chicken salad... boil chicken in chicken stock add celery to stock as you cook. then when adding celery, chicken and mayo, salt and pepper... add a little sugar just a little bit.... tell me what you think...
