priorities

Today is going to be a short post. Why? Well, my baby has eczema, allergies, rashes, oh my! And yesterday he was very, very cranky!! On a scale of 1 to 10 he was a 12. So instead of getting some work done I...

Spent way too much time in this chair........

Snuggled under this blanket...

Reading these books to Butterball.

I just knew you would understand and I will be back next week with lots of good stuff!!

*Allergy Update for anyone who gives a hoot. We went to the doctor's yesterday and got some new medicine. A liquid that helped him sleep through the night for the first time in three nights. Yeah!!! And a $300 bottle of lotion for his poor skin. Yes, I said $300. I only had to pay $60 but I am thinking that lotion must be magic in a bottle to cost that much and his skin is so much better this morning....I'm also thinking I may rub some on my face. You know, just to see if my skin will look like that of an 18 month old. I'll let you know what happens.

Have a great weekend!!!

  3. I'm sorry to hear about Butterball's rough time- did not know he had excema- Sam has it really bad so please tell me the name of the lotion-we were just discussing it this morning. The ointments we get for her don't work- hopefully he's better soon!

  5. Oh poor baby...and poor you. I guess if one is going to be under the weather, resting under that lovely blanket and in that charming chair and ottoman is the way to do it.

  6. Poor baby - I hope he feels better soon. It's wonderful to know how much comfort babies get from cuddling with their moms.
    Have a great weekend.

  11. what a fun chair to curl up in... sorry the butterball was not feeling well... I hope all is well now. Blogger moms are the best. I'm much older than you .... no more babies so let me know if that cream is something I need to put on my anti-aging list!

  12. What a beautiful chair..
My son struggled with eczema and allergies too.
Good Luck. Has your baby been tested? When they figured out what he was allergic to it really helped....Hang in there.
