Snow Daze

Have you heard? It snowed in Wilmington. It's a big deal. School has been closed for 3 days. The first day it was fun. I took Clay to the store and we bought a fire pit, marshmallows and hot dogs. Three days cooped up in the house,  lots of toasted food and 2 inches of snow later, not so fun.

To cheer myself up I did a little Internet browsing, no buying...

Pom Slippers

Found these..
Don't they make you happy? Here

Shiva Tote - GB
And this bag would get anybody out of a snow funk.

Saw this work out on A Creative Day and had to try it...

I can't really go out in the world right now, it's cold, really cold and icy...scary!!
So this looked like the perfect solution.
No special equipment, just a wall, easy right?
Well, no, it was tough, really tough.
But I loved it, try it and let me know what you think.

I have also been organizing my refrigerator and pantry...it's time to go back to school.

  1. i adore those slippers. Tried them on in the store, but decided I could live without them. I don't think I could do the wall exercise. Hm. Don't know if I'll try…but I do know it's time to go back to school!!

  2. We get ice about once a year in Dallas..sometimes with snow and I get cabin fever after 24 hours. One time, our cable went out. It was madness. I want to try that workout!! Stay safe, my friend! xo

  3. Ah sissy the snow will have us all climbing walls soon. Looks like fun when I'm feeling ambitious.

  4. oh no! that is a long time to stay cooped up. But I love the toasting marshmallows idea. And this plank.....I need to try it...it does look easy, but I bet I can't do it. I shall report back!

  5. Those slippers are too cute. Also, I tried that exercise move on the wall and you're right. It's not as easy as it looks.
