Caftan Crisis

Don't you hate when you're a day late and a dollar short?

Or in this case almost $175 short.


Vintage caftan on Ebay that was sure to bring me years of happiness.

According to the email I just got I didn't "win" it, so I guess it is going to bring someone else years of happiness. Wouldn't this have been perfect for my daily trips to the grocery store and Target because, really, where else do I go?

    Not sure if you have Cost Plus World Market where you are, but if they do, I recently bought a caftan there that is similar to this. It is not nearly as cool as this one on Ebay, but it cost under $50. I was suprised to find clothes there, but they have a very small clothing and jewelry section.

    Yes, I've seen tunics at World Market, but haven't looked for a caftan, so it's worth a shot (plus you can order online). That is such a bummer though - it's so you! And I think Target and the grocery store need a little dose of your fabulousness in that (or a similar) caftan!

    Emersonmade.com has a beautiful caftan that sold out on the first run. They are pre-selling their second run. The price is a bit of a deterrent although I'm almost sure I would get a ton of wear out of it.
