We're Open...

Remember when I said I was busy working on something? I blogged about it here. Did you guess? Betsy Parker and I have opened a booth at The Eclectic on Castle Street in Wilmington. We have lots of fun home furnishings and accessories for sale.

See the handsome man in jewels? He was one of my finds at Scott's. Actually Kathy spotted him. He was a little rough looking, so I spruced him up with some white paint.

I think he looks pretty good.
Whoever he is. Does anyone recognize him?

And there's more...several oil paintings...

Turtle mom and baby. Don't you love their little brass heads and feet?

Paisley stool and Mid Century sculpture from Scott's.

Furniture, lamps, mirrors...

Mod trays...

And another Atlanta find. Loving this vintage wool blanket. Wouldn't it be perfect at the foot of a bed?

Next time you are out stop by our booth at The Eclectic. Right down the street from Jester's Cafe. Make sure to say "hey" to Randy and tell him Sissy sent you!!

  3. Sissy, it looks fantastic! I love the bust with the necklaces. I want some of those beads!! Love the mod tray- how cute would that be in a {my} teen girl's bedroom? Now I know where it is, b/c you ate with us at Jester's that time. I didn't remember it being the same place that I went with you and Betsy...you got so many fab things in Atlanta. Congrats!! I LOVE the blanket- wish it were more muted so it could work in JWJ's bedroom. xo

  4. The bust is of Joseph Smith, the founder of the LDS church. My parents have those as book ends-- one of joseph, and one of his wife.

  7. I was thinking if the hair was flatter on the bust, it could be Bill.

  16. thanks for the comment sissy! Yep-we are in NC, my husband is in the army and we live near Fort Bragg/Fayetteville (probably the worst town in NC. haha!) We escape to the beach/Wilmington a lot during the summer so I will definitely have to come check out The Eclectic! I LOVE that kind of stuff!

It's funny, I've read your blog for months and had no idea you were in NC since none of that shows up in my reader.

    nice chattin :)
