I am easily confused...

A few days back I thanked Ally From The Right Bank for nominating me for a Homie Award.

The problem?

She didn't nominate me, Jessica from Lavender and Lilies did.
What can I say? I am easily confused.

Jessica, I am so sorry for the mix-up.

Then There Were Two...

Last week when I was looking through some older posts at My Interior Life, I came across this table Kathy had spotted at her Habitat store.

I couldn't believe it because just last week I saw....

This at my Habitat store. Same table. And like Kathy it has really grown on me. It is big and white and laminate, ie: easy to clean. It is marked down to $50. If I still had a basement, I would totally buy this...

Surround it with happy, yellow friends and use it as a craft table. Or, if I had a beach house, it could be my dining room table or...oh I don't know, there are lots of things you could do with it. So what do you think? Is it growing on you or are you scared of it?

Adele Enerson's photographs of her adorable daughter, Mila, are brilliant!!

She uses fabrics and other items she has around the house and creates the most wonderful images while Mila sleeps.

Probably because while Locke slept I slept.

And Adele Enerson is crazy talented which doesn't hurt.

Maybe I could bribe Locke to lay still with his eyes closed while I took some pictures....

The Stylish blogger Award. It made my day! As part of winning this prestigious award you are supposed to list 7 things about yourself. I figured you are probably tired of hearing about me, so I am going to tell you a little bit more about Kathy.

Kathy and I "met" several years ago when, as a reader, she helped me track down some fabric. We e-mailed a little back and forth and once she decided to start a blog I was thrilled. Now we get to visit almost daily through our blogs. Kathy is a design loving mom with a great eye.

She always seems to find the best deals.
(Recent habitat chair purchase $12.50 each!)

She found this table for $60! I want it!! Painted white it would look amazing in my living room.

Lamp and shade together were $8. I told you she has great style!

When she found these chairs ($50 each) I wanted to drive to TN and get them for myself.

Right now she is redecorating her daughter's room and taking us along for the transformation.

Cool or Clown

Loved these Frye wedges last year but hesitated because of the price and the heel: 4 inches!! Could I teeter through Target and the grocery store in 4 inch heels? They are reduced from $178 to $124. Should I give them a try or would I look like....

Golden Globes-Mark Ruffalo-Domino

Did you watch The Golden Globes? I was trying to finish a good book so only caught bits and pieces of it. I did catch a glimpse of cute Mark Ruffalo and that reminded me of his cute wife Sunshine and that reminded me of their home that I had seen somewhere, sometime....

One quick internet search later and I found it.

The kid's room is the room I remember best...love it!!

So really for me this was the best part of The Golden Globes. What about you? What did you like best?

Question..

These clean modern rooms really appeal to me.
Especially after being snowed in with my children for the past 3 days (scary).

I wish my house was as clean as these homes look.

I used to think my house was messy/dirty because I lived with the 3 little pigs.

Now I think my home may have been built on top of an ancient Indian dust bowl. I was a History major in college. I know about these things.

Is it just me or do you constantly fight with dust?
Do you have to dust,sweep or vacuum everyday?
Or are we an unusually dusty family?
