Last week after doing a post about some curtains I made, a reader, Avis from Slingerlands, NY, sent me a picture of some similar curtains she had made for her son's room.
Not only do they look great but I also love the yellow headboards against the blue walls. And yes, Avis made them herself. It is a great looking room that is age appropriate but doesn't scream little boy.
Her house is full of personality. Love her dining room with the bright green walls and built-ins that her dad made.
Avis, thank you for letting me share your home with my readers!! Don't you love being able to peak in the homes of real people? Especially real people with some style!! Which room do you like best?

ReplyDeletewhat is that green??? love love love
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great, my only suggestion would be swap out the brass chandelier in the dining room either for a satin nickel one that would match the picture frames in there or oil rubbed bronze to more closely match the wall mounted plate-rack and buffet. But thats just me being picky.
