Can you tell what is on my mind today?
Yellow chairs! I think they would really perk up my breakfast nook. I have too much dark wood furniture. I need some sunny yellow paint. And some new chairs...What do you think? Should I go for it?

They are totally fab..but if you are too scared accessorise with yellow first and see how you feel before you make a big yellow committment.I was just looking at yellow geometric design cushions in the shops!!
ReplyDeleteEveryone could use a little yellow in their life! I think chairs are a good way to bring that color in...makes a statement with taking over the whole room!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! I've injected shots of yellow into my bedroom (lamps and pillows) and love it! All those chairs are fabulous, but I've always had a soft spot for the Tolix ones. Go for it, Sissy!
ReplyDeletesweetheart. you read my mind. I've been pondering all the dark furniture we love here in the south. I've got a post coming on that soon, I think. we need to lighten up, don't you agree...?
ReplyDeleteJudging by these examples, go for it! xx
ReplyDeleteGo for it! It's just paint right? Colorful chairs are one of my favorite design elements!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I'm digging the pale blue sofa in the first photo too, my living room really needs to be perked up. Change is good!
ReplyDeleteGo for it! And you know my vote is for the Tolix!! Yellow is such a great color...and you can usually easily sell chairs if you change your mind, or paint 'em and put 'em outside!
ReplyDeleteOf course you should! The first picture is one of my favorites. I usually find that when I go for bold rather than subdued I'm the happiest.
ReplyDeleteYES! I love yellow - I use tons of yellow in my house. It's so happy and sunny - just like you!

I love the yellow chairs in Christine's apartment, as featured in Elle Decor! I posted about that home last week :)
ReplyDeleteme too! i just found some chrome yellow ultrasuede and I'm trying to find some chairs for it. backwards, i know, but that fabric is to die for.
ReplyDeleteNever would have put the yellow with the pink, but I'm liking it! So happy!
ReplyDeleteGo for it! We must be channeling the same thoughts, currently looking to add some yellow accents to my home...thinking throw pillows and a cute tray, box or vase!
ReplyDeleteBlog hopping instead of working landed me here. I'm in the mood for redecorating, too, and it's so hard to know which way to go. Your profile caught my eye -- Mexican food and Diet Coke lover! Not much goes better together. -- michele
ReplyDeleteI love the circle mirror wall art. Does anyone know where I can purchase this beautiful piece?
ReplyDeleteYellow chairs just make me happy.
ReplyDeleteIf there was a new color trend at High Point this market it was that shade of yellow. Laura Kirar at Baker had dining room chairs that really popped in that color. I think we're going to see a lot of it!
