Don't Get Too Excited..

Saw these fabulous, colorful, happy pictures on Absolutely Beautiful Things last night and got so excited. They are from Inside Out Magazine.

Something about these images really spoke to me.

My heart started to race and I thought "Could this be it? A new magazine to love, to have and to hold and subscribe to every month until the economy drives it out of business?" I immediately went to their website to sign up for my lifetime of happiness where I was met with bitter disappointment. All this fabulousness comes from Australia. Yes, I can buy love, for a small fee of $130. For 8 issues!! For that price at least give me 12 months of joy. I know it is coming from the land down under but still...

Inside Out, I am going to have to love you from afar. Very afar.

In the meantime, Decor 8 has also posted some images form the latest issue. Here.

Some people think absence makes the heart grow fonder. Really? I think it makes the heart bitter.

  1. have you checked to see if there's a zinio version? A lot of international magazines are going electronic because it's cheaper for them and they can reach a wider audience. I've even converted some of my US subscriptions over to e-books (i.e. Country Living). GL!!

  7. Argh, do they have a website? I still love to hold a glossy mag in my hands, but Lonny has gotten me used to PDF-ing it now!

  8. Oh, I'm just in love with that huge bucket of poppies on the counter! Too bad it's not here in the U.S., after Domino bit the dust, we could use another beautiful and colorful decor magazine!

  9. Lord, I love this magazine! Every time we go back to Australia, to visit husband's family, I pick it up. I used to subscribe....but I really had to cut back on the subscriptions. Could put one in the poor house. Have a lovely weekend!

  10. I agree, bitter indeed. Why does it have to be so pretty, yet so unattainable in the States?

  11. They are great pictures with such awesome colors. However, $100 plus bucks for only eight issues is robbery.

  12. Very funny post! I too was disappointed that this mag is from Australia. Never thought about a zinio version... though, that's not quite the same is it? :( But I'll let you and everyone know if I find some kind of e-subscription.
