House of Blues

I came across this house tour on Apartment Therapy and just had to share. I love all the house tours on Apartment Therapy and, while fun to look at, most aren't exactly my taste. That's one reason I like it; it is something different. But last night I stumbled across a home that is fabulous, and right up my alley.


I just love all the blue...


With the bright white.


The walls looked like they are high gloss..almost lacquered.



I love it!


It makes me want to break out my paint brush.


Or even better, call a painter.


This crisp, clean style of decorating is really appealing to me right now.

    I too am drawn to clean, paired down, elegant spaces. This is gorgeous and yet it looks like a "real house" as opposed to the often unattainable ones we see in magazines. I love the modern art too! Thanks for sharing.

    I have to agree with you. This home is fabulous, isn't it? Very glamorous for South Austin too... a town known for being laid back and earthy crunchy. Thanks for sharing a beautiful space with us over coffee. :))

    I love the navy wall with white furniture and yellow accents - so elegant. I think this might be my inspiration for my guest bedroom...

    I forgot to say that they used one of my all time favorite fabrics on the pillows... the crewel embroidery ones... Schumacher Nuata in Lapis. I want to use this in my house somewhere, but where.
    I will love it from afar.... and those glossy blue walls give me goose bumps.
