...Of my pretty pink bathroom?
This is not my bathroom exactly. For some reason I can't find our pictures, but you can get the idea. It was a sea of pink.
A pink square tub. Ours was even fancier. It had two seats so you had a little sliver down the center where you could bathe. Why two seats? Why seats at all? Are you expecting company? If you are, I don't want to know.
It is not a big bathroom. 8 x 10. When we gutted it several people suggested I take space from my closet to make it bigger. What? Crazy talk. I have seen some bathrooms that are big enough for dinner parties. Who wants to eat dinner in a bathroom? Not me. It has everything I need in it's small space. Sink, tub, toilet. The perfect work triangle.
After pictures tomorrow. As soon as I clean up!
Hah! I would love to know what that warning sign above the toilet in photo #2 says. :)
ReplyDeleteI hear you about the "monster" master baths! Multiple full length mirrors to see yourself from every angle (yuck), more to clean, room for the kids to come in and talk to you while you're getting ready- not good! Can't wait to see your "afters"
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about how boring my kids beige bathroom looks. I will complain no more! Hard to believe anyone would choose that shade.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the updates...
ReplyDeleteI agree that big bathrooms are strange. I've been in some that are the size of my living room. But then, their living room is the size of my entire house. I guess it's all about perspective!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! We had that EXACT tub in our first house (along with the matching toilet and tile). The tub had a frosted glass tub surround attached which made it especially challenging to bath a baby in...memories! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see the after shots tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYou know I love a b & a! Cannot wait!
ReplyDeleteJudging by the before pictures I bet the after is going to be just spectacular!!
ReplyDeleteWe have tub just like that, with two seats, in our new home. I can't wait to see what you did with the space.
ReplyDeleteOh, flashback..., to our first home! We gutted our pink bathroom too, but I still get a kick out of it seeing them pop up every once in a while. Now pink is kind of back!
