Hope everyone had a great Father's Day. You know we can't have a holiday around here without some T.V. nostalgia so here's a quiz. Which T.V. dad's style do you relate to?

1. Ward Clever: "Leave it to Beaver"
Style: Traditional

Traditional I wouldn't mind getting a lecture if it was in this room.

2. Mike Brady: "The Brady Bunch" Style: Contemporary

Contemporary If only Greg's room in the attic looked like this!

Rustic Could someone call Half-Pint for dinner? I'm not usually into the rustic look but this room is fabulous!
Wel if I left it up to my husband, our house would be decorated like the Bundy's on Married with Children but I think relaxed traditional would describe our house
What a cute post! I have to say, my taste is all over the map... I like them all! But, in this case, I think the Michael Smith (Leave it to Beaver) home wins out :-)
I would want a bit of both. A traditional Dad, a contemporary among his peers with the ability to get a little rustic -perhaps not a camper but able to fix a fence or herd cattle to the bus and help with home-work. I love all three. pve

ReplyDeleteLove the Michael Smith room!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to go with Traditional here- I love that room!

ReplyDeleteHi!! Thank-you for visiting The Katillac Shack and having a kind heart!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog--and this is such a fun post! I'd say for my dad it would be the rustic! But, I adore the other two personally!
BTW...my blue hydrangeas are gorgeous just now--they are cut and all over The Katilllac Shack!
love, kelee

My dad was very traditional so that's always the style that I gravitate towards - but all three are great!
ReplyDeleteI would say I am traditinally rusty!
ReplyDeleteFirst I need to be able to type traditionally rusty... right? I loved this post! Fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever comparison. I would have to say that I am traditional but your version of country is pretty cool too!
