I know everybody and their mother has already seen the world's cutest dress from Old Navy. On sale for $20 here.
I even bought two, one for me and one for Cricket, because when you're almost 13 you love nothing more than dressing like your mother. Well, Cricket said "hell no!!" And once I found a size big enough to fit across my shoulders I looked like a pickle in a barrel, so they both went back.

Am I seeing double, are you? How pissed would you be if you paid $124 for this and then saw Sally Sue in the SAME dress that her smart aleck mom got at Old Navy for $20!!!! Pretty pissed I'm guessing. Wonder what Jenna thinks about all this?

I bought the old navy dress too and just did a little snip in the arms where it was tight (almost like making a vent). This way I had the size that worked (M) and room for my "adult" arms!
ReplyDeleteoh Sissy, I bought it for Lily bc it was the very cutest thing ever, but it looked like a paper sack on her. So back it went. I can't believe it's the VERY same thing at J Crew. But maybe the cut is ten times better?!
ReplyDeleteThis post made me laugh ~ yes I would be really irritated if I saw the same dress on someone else for so much less!! But I also don't shop J Crew so it is highly unlikely that I will run into anyone else dressing more cheaply than myself. Problem solved.
