Spin Art

First I saw this....

Then I saw this.

I did a little research...

And found Damien Hirst. I am hooked and had to try this for myself.

Lucky for me I found this in Cricket's closet. I have been practicing on paper plates and now I am working on a plan to super size it. Picture a giant lazy susan. By "I" I really mean Bill. He is good at building things and you know he loves to come home from a long day at work and relax by working on one of my craft projects. Hopefully I will have something fabulous to show you soon. Cross your fingers!!

  6. Why don't you just make the regular size, then do what Lauren (pure Style) did and have it blown up on canvas?....

  7. Sissy, what a nut you are. Cannot wait to see the results. Maybe you can rig up a salad spinner to spin your artwork.

  9. Oh my goodness, how fun! I had a spin art birthday party when I was 8 or 9, and everyone took home a framed original that they made at my party before cake time. Good old fashioned fun!

  10. I love it! I have been wanting to do it forever. I also love it with one color like Miles Reed (I think) did.
